The Pardon Crucifix
The 3-Way Pardon Crucifix is a powerful Catholic sacramental combining three distinct devotionals-the Pardon Crucifix, the St. Benedict Medal, and the Miraculous Medal-into one, often referred to as a "triple threat" against evil.
- Front: Features the crucifix with "I.N.R.I." at the top (Latin: lesus Nazarenus Rex
Judaeorum). - Back: Features the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the words "Father forgive them," as well as "Behold this heart which has so loved men".
- Attached Medals: Includes the St. Benedict medal and the Miraculous Medal
- Purpose: Served as a "weapon" against evil due to the combined power of three significant Catholic sacramentals.
- Indulgences: Originally blessed by Pope Pius X in 1905, these crucifixes were granted many indulgences for the living and souls in Purgatory.
- Devotion: Devoutly carrying or kissing the crucifix, especially at the moment of death (following confession), is associated with special graces.
