Pregnant Madonna

This lovely figurine represents the Expecting Mother Mary, modeled as a simple woman in childbirth and without any divine or royal attributes. Mary's face is bowed and her gaze is contemplatively turned towards her womb, on which she delicately rests her hand. She wears a beautiful white dress, symbolic of her purity, and a beautiful blue veil with many folds. We particularly love the detailed gold buckle securing her veil which is wrapped around her blossoming womb. The gold, representing royalty, draws our eyes from her gaze, to the divine life growing within. This pregnant Mary figurine is crafted to the smallest detail and hand-painted by the artists at Joseph's Studio.
