St. Francis Florentine Plaque

We just love this dainty little Florentine plaque. This gold leafed plaque depicts the famous Giotto scene of St. Francis with birds. St. Francis was do conformed to God and had surrendered so much of himself, that he was said to be in a heavenly, Godly state where even the animals and all of creation could commune with him.
