We LOVE this Auspice Maria Cutting Board! Auspice Maria is Latin for "Under the protection of Mary" — an ancient religious Marian symbol that's appeared in churches, artwork, jewelry, and more. It is our hope that this cutting board will be a beautiful daily reminder that you are loved and protected by our Mother Mary.
Handmade entirely from raw wood in our husband and wife partner's Illinois workshop- never a pre-made blank. They have delicately intertwined the letters A and M, surrounded her with flowers, and added a crown to honor her as Queen of Heaven.
This piece coordinates beautifully with our Auspice Maria kitchen towel, and makes a meaningful gift for any woman but especially as a housewarming gift, or for Mother's Day, bridal showers or even as a lovely hostess gift.
